Varun delivers some cheeky one-liners like “Manish Malhotra ko chachu bolne se koi fashion expert nahi banta.” The video then shows Ananya schooling Varun about the fashion industry in a scene that exactly replicates the savage monologue delivered by Meryl Streep’s character in The Devil Wears Prada.
Ananya’s monologue mimics Miranda Priestly’s original dialogue, with the only difference being in the names of the designers. While Streep’s character mentioned Western designers like Oscar de la Renta, Ananya takes the names of Indian designers like Sabyasachi and Masaba Gupta in her dialogue.
