The movie, which was initially set to premiere in 2022, will now hit theaters on September 1.
The poster shared by Samantha shows her and Vijay holding hands, with Samantha holding an adorable puppy while Vijay is holding onto his tiffin box bag. In her Instagram post, Samantha expressed her excitement for the film, writing, “Whole heart🤍 #Kushi.”
Kushi is written and directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film was previously scheduled to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 23, 2022, but was postponed. The new release date is eagerly awaited by fans of both Samantha and Vijay, who are known for their excellent performances in romantic films.
Last year, Samantha had shared another poster of Kushi, which had announced the previous release date. The poster featured Vijay in traditional Kashmiri attire and a sari-clad Samantha. In addition to Samantha and Vijay, Kushi will also star Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, and Lakshmi. Hesham Abdul Wahab, who gained fame for the soundtrack of the Malayalam-language film Hridayam, composed the music for the film.
