By In a significant development nearly two years later, authorities have registered a murder case against a woman, who was found deceased alongside her two children in their residence on the outskirts of Mumbai. A police official confirmed this information on Wednesday, stating that the mother is now a suspect in the case.
As per the Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar police official, the decision to book the deceased mother for murder was made after the receipt and analysis of the autopsy reports.
The tragic incident occurred on September 7, 2021, in the locality of Naya Nagar in Mira Road. The deceased woman, identified as Nasreen Waghu, was 47 years old, while her children were named Sadnaj (20) and Harsh (13). Their lifeless bodies were discovered within their home.
With the murder case now officially registered against the mother, authorities aim to unravel the circumstances surrounding this distressing incident that unfolded within the family’s residence.
