Star couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have announced the merger of their respective foundations, which have now given way to a new initiative called SeVVA. The Bollywood star and Indian cricketer have jointly launched this new endeavor, stating that it aims to help people in need and is not restricted to any specific cause. The couple believes that SeVVA’s work won’t be limited to a particular issue, as it will continue to strive for social good by promoting humanity.
Sharma’s foundation was previously called the Anushka Sharma Foundation, while Kohli’s foundation was known as the Virat Kohli Foundation. The two foundations will now operate under the umbrella of SeVVA.
The couple has also clarified that despite the merger, their individual focus areas will not change. Kohli, who is 34 years old, will continue to offer scholarships in sports and sponsor athletes. Sharma, who is also 34, will remain involved with animal welfare, which she has championed for years.
Through SeVVA, the power couple will actively seek to identify areas of concern that will benefit society at large. The joint statement released by the duo emphasizes the need for unity in these trying times, and how they hope SeVVA will play a significant role in bringing about positive change.
